Analyze Course Requests for Accuracy

Analyzing course requests for accuracy allows schedulers to target the group of students who have zero requests, incomplete, or inaccurate requests.

Scan Course Requests to find Inaccuracies

  1. Navigate to the Courses Board

  2. From here you can quickly scan the courses to see if grade levels, IEPs, and ELs are aligned properly with each course

  3. To narrow information further, click on More Filters

  4. Here you can select options to further filter your data, for example only showing courses with requests from one or more ninth graders. 

  5. When you have finalized your filtering criteria, click the Apply Filters button

View Students Who Requested a Specific Course

  1. Navigate to the Courses Board

  2. Click on the name of the course you want to see in further detail

  3. Click on Course Requests by Grade to see a list of students who requested that course

  4. To navigate to that specific group of students, click on Go To Students

Filter to a Group of Students Who Should Have a Similar Set of Requests

  1. Navigate to the Students Board

  2. Click on Grid View

  3. Click on More Filters

  4. Scroll to find the criterion you'll use to narrow a group of students (example: grade level, IEP, program, academy)

  5. When you have finalized your filtering criteria, click the Apply Filters button

  6. The Students Board will update to show the filtered group of students and their course requests

  7. To download this filtered list of students to a CSV, click on Actions and select Export Student List CSV
