Analyze Course Requests for Completion

After course requests are collected, analyze them to note any gaps and trends and ensure alignment with your scheduling priorities. This article will guide schedulers through analyzing students’ course requests for completion.

Find Students with Missing Course Requests by Subject Area

Using the Dashboard

  1. On the Abl Scheduler homepage click on Dashboard for your scheduling environment 

  2. Click on Plan

  3. Here you can see how many students have course requests and missing requests by subject area

  4. Click on any of the numbers on the table to be taken directly to a filtered list of students missing course requests for that subject area

Using the Students Board

  1. Navigate to the Students Board

  2. Click on More Filters

  3. Scroll to find Missing Requests by Subject Area and select a subject area. You can further narrow this filter by selecting a grade level, a student group, a gender, and more.  

  4. When you have finalized your filtering criteria, click the Apply Filters button

  5. The Students Board will be updated to show students with 0 requests in the selected subject area

  6. To download this filtered list of students to a CSV, click on Actions and select Export Student List CSV

Find Students With Too Few or Too Many Requests

  1. Navigate to the Students Board

  2. Make sure you are in List View

  3. Click on the header for the Courses column once to sort the number of requests from low to high, and twice to sort by high to low

  4. The Students Board will update to show students sorted by the number of course requests they have

  5. To download this filtered list of students to a CSV, click on Actions and select Export Student List CSV
