Coursetaking Student Filters
The Student Board now offers new functionality that allows users to easily filter students based on current enrollments and past performance. This new functionality provides a game-changing way to examine student course requests based on their transcript history, enabling you to assign courses strategically for the upcoming year. By identifying students who excel in certain subjects or who may need additional support in others, you can create a more tailored and effective course schedule that meets the needs of each student.
Using Coursetaking Filters in combination with Course Request Filters, schedulers can narrow lists of students to ensure that course requests are accurate and strategic. For example, you can search for students who have passed Biology 1 with an A, and then use the Course Request Filters to narrow that group down to only those who did NOT request Biology 2 Honors. This will allow you to identify a group of students who have demonstrated aptitude in Biology, and who are primed for a more challenging course in that subject area. By providing these students with an opportunity to level up, you can help them reach their full potential and achieve academic success.

Academic Journey
After a limited release last year, access to the student academic journey is now available to all high school schedulers. This new feature allows you to effortlessly review the accuracy and appropriateness of your student's course requests in the context of past performance and current enrollments, all without leaving the Abl platform.
